Savage Truth-Volume I

In movies I always end up rooting for the villains, the character development is always more interesting than the heroes. The other crazy thing is that no matter how much destruction their causing in their mind they feel like their the hero themselves and their adding to the world in stead of taking away. Just a matter of perception I suppose. To bite a line from the 2000 movie Unbreakable "there's always two kinds; there's the soldier villain, who fights the hero with his hands; and then there's the real threat the brilliant and evil archenemy, who fights the hero with his mind". Situations like this create an on going saga where in which something has to give which create the suspense that we love in film.Putting this much thought into something like this may make you think I'm a dork but if your judging me you this is my way to drift away from the ills of the real world so fuck it...

Air Jordan 6 (VI) Retro - Black / Varsity Red

In our Jordan Brand 2010 Preview, we showcased catalog scans of upcoming Air Jordans, including the highly sought after “Infrared” Air Jordan 6 (VI). Jordan Brand will be bringing back one of the most popular sneakers ever next year, but there will be two catches. The first is that varsity red will replace infrared accents, and the second catch is that the sneaker will come in suede rather than the original nubuck material. Other key aspects of this AJ 6 are the out-sole which appears to be white rather than a clear sole and the air bubble which is black rather than clear. Please be aware that this pair is only a sample, and we will surely keep you up to date as soon as any more information or pictures become available. The Air Jordan 6 (VI) Retro - Black/Varsity Red is scheduled to release in January 2010.

Air Jordan Retro X (10) Chicago - 2010 Release

Months ago, rumors surfaced that the Air Jordan X (10) Chicago Bulls White/Black - Team Red would be reissuing again sometime in 2010. Grainy images of the samples have hit the ‘net, and if these do release, it’s readily apparent that there’s a few slight differences between the “OG” and ‘10 update. The retro’s cut along the ankle is a little slimmer and shorter than that of its progenitor and both Jumpman logos are facing the same way. Look for the Air Jordan Retro X (10) “Chicago” sometime in 2010!

Nike Transformers II Pack - Zoom Flight Club & Zoom Sharkalaid

Today, we have our first look at the Nike Transformers II Pack, which is composed of three sneakers directly inspired by the hit movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The Flight Club from this pack is inspired by Bumblebee, and it hosts a yellow upper with black and silver accents. The Zoom Sharkalaid, inspired by Soundwave, yields a blue upper with white, yellow, and red accents. The Nike Transformers II Pack will release in special action figure inspired boxes this Summer.

Air Jordan Spizikes-New Colorway

Images of new Air Jordan Spiz’ike sneakers recently surfaced. This colorway was inspired by original colors from the Black/Red Air Jordan IV (with a touch of ‘Cookies & Cream flavor). Colors of the Air Jordan III, V, VI, and XX are less-dominant in this model. The Air Jordan Spiz’ike was designed cooperatively by Sir Tinker Hatfield and Spike Lee, who chose to fuse their favorite models of Air Jordans into one sneaker. The first Spiz’ike released in 2006 in conjunction with the 20th Anniversary of Spike Lee’s first film “She’s Gotta Have It;” in which Lee produced and starred as the Michael Jordan fanatic character ‘Mars Blackmon.’

New Drake Interview "Kill the Labels"

To be totally honest with ya'll I have found a whole new respect for this man after watching this interview. As an entrepreneur I can really appreciate his independence as an artist. If he drops his album as an independent and has any kind of success he will change the way hip-hop is viewed for forever at least from a business point of view that is.Nowadays there are to many "rappers" out here who try to use labels or squads as a crutch for credibility,a substitute for substance or for source for finances and as a result they end up becoming puppets. In my opinion Labels are the reason for the deterioration of hip-hop as an art.Artist out here get credibility for who that rap with or signed to and we're forced to listen to them because of their affiliations.Anytime you watch the TV or listen to the radio and wonder "why the fuck is this shit on here" realize that somewhere a group of old white men sat in a room and decided you would like that shit because he's signed to the same label as Rick Ross or Nelly or somebody else that isn't that hot anyways.Rappers aint eating how they used to because no nobody is gonna put up with this bullshit and spend 18.99 for one song. For independent artists(i.e niggas that aint get signed yet) by turning yourself into a brand you claim total control of your destiny as an artist.Nowadays everybody just thinks that if they think up a rap name and a cliche ass name for they squad that their entrepreneurs and I'm hear to say that is not the case. The days of sitting around waiting to get signed are over.Like seriously how can you be an entrepenr sitting around waiting for a HANDOUT.With all the social utilities out here you can create a buzz for your own self at least if your shit is hot enough anyways Record companies ain't tossing out bread how they used to it ain't 1996 anymore, they wanna see what you can do for yourself before they even consider giving you a damn thing....but enough of me ranting check out the interview for yourself.

"Throwback Thursdays" DMX-Hows it going down

This shit was at the peak of the man's career,X hold ya head homie

To be free....

To be totally honesty with ya'll I've been feeling like shit lately,On top of having a slight case of insomnia I've been stressing over money and a bunch of other shit thats been going on that is too much to really get into for now.And once again I feel like I'm trapped...anyone that knows me knows of my ongoing search of this freedom that seems elude me and drift further and further every time I think its in arms reach. Sometimes I just think its my ambition that creates this self torture in that I'm never satisfied with any and every accomplishment I make, but regardless of whether being self imposed or not the feeling is there and it sets in heavy...so I heavy I feel like my skull could crack...but in time it'll pass like all pain does one way or another...but on a lighter note I wanted to share this song by Kid Cudi(yes I know it came out a minute ago bear with me) with anyone who's been feeling the same way I have,or worse...yesterday I just had to sit myself down and realize that I have sumthin fuckin amazing to share with the world and as long as I work towards that everything will be

Mary J. Blige feat Drake-The One

Nike Air Yeezy Net/Net

The final chapter in the Nike Air Yeezy will be written tomorrow with the official release of the third and final installment in the Yeezy run. It took more than a year to reach this point since Kanye West stepped onto the stage of the Grammy’s in February 2008 wearing the mysterious shoe. While many people may have their personal favorites of the shoe, the Net/Net Nike Air Yeezy has a few standout characteristics that separates it from the other two in the series.

This colorway of the Air Yeezy was the only colorway that was worn by Kanye West prior to the release campaign that began in April, 2009. This color frequently made it to the feet of Ye while he was busy on the Glow In The Dark Tour. Fitting for the name, the shoe not only features the signatory glow-in-the-dark sole, but the Swoosh on the side of the shoe lights up the night as well.
